As far as breweries, I'm a fan of Beachwood, Smog City, Riip and Highland Park. Barley Forge in Costa Mesa is a fun spot as well.

Thanks man this is super helpful. We should meet up at one of these spots and I’ll thank you with a beer

Also, depending on what part of HB:

RIIP Brewing; American Dream (restaurant 50ish taps and good food); Simzies (decent taplist, haven’t had the food) Rockin’ Crepes (“eh” food, but surprisingly good taplist); BTs BBQ (good BBQ and pretty decent IPA taplist); and Eureka! (Pretty good food/taplist).

I stuck with all HB, since that’s what you asked for.

The 24th we are going to be at Disneyland, I had asked the wife if I could take the afternoon to go to Beachwood she said yes but I was thinking about staying closer and doing Noble or Terruex. Are you going both days? What time were you thinking?

I can likely make anytime work, if left
To my own devices it will likely be closer to 5 or 6 when I head over.

Cool. I'll mull it over, initially I was thinking a late lunch at Beachwood and then a few tasters at blendery, then back to the land for family dinner. But this was when I was just thinking about myself.

I didn’t get an email about it. Just randomly saw it on their Instagram. It was sold out before I could get a ticket though. I’d have loved to go to this!

Anyone can still go. Entry to the Herm isn't ticketed I don't think. Tickets were just sold for the stein package.
