OK, so my daughter's future Mother in Law gave my daughter a mason jar with vanilla beans in it. The label said they were soaked with Amsterdam Vodka. The label says 02.22.02 and 11.30.22 and then reads Indigo. I opened the jar and they smell so good but my daughter wants to throw them away. Is there anything I can do with them in a beer? The beans are tied in knots and there are probably at least 25 to 30 in the jar. Just a quick look I found a vanilla bean porter that kinda looked interesting, but thought I would defer to the pro's. Anybody use vanilla beans soaked in what appears to be vodka for anything beer related?

Here are some pictures

I soak vanilla beans in rum for a few weeks along with cinnamon, nutmeg and orange peel to make a tincture to flavor my figgy pudding Christmas stout. Do you have any idea how long these soaked (and/or what happened to the vodka)?
