Kombucha newbie unsucsessful start

Hi, ive got 7 scobys, didnt knew what to do so i put it in the fridge. In first brew i got mold on the top of the liquid and now i made another and its the same. Maybe my scoby is not active? Should i still keep my scoby hotel in the fridge?

Are you sure it's mold and not a new Scoby?

Yes i think its mold. First time it covered all of the top

I'm no expert, but that does look like mold.
