So we have been making KB for quite sometime now. We wanted to try and add some flavouring to it.... So we tried lemonade... Way too acidic!!! We are wondering if anyone has successfully added some sort of flavouring to their KB?!

Pear. Cubed. Let it sit in the ready product with the bottle for about 4 days. Then Drink. I like it. Get a mellow pear. Really you can throw just about anything in there. I pitted some cherries once and threw them in a bottle of my already brewed and bottle stuff, left it for 4 days as well. It was alright but not as good as the pear.

I have had success with:
apple
cinnamon
apple cinnamon
ginger
ginger pear
raspberry
blueberry

I recommend peeling or juicing it first or using even using frozen to make sure your not contaminating anything

Burp your bottles if you are going to start adding flavoring to avoid bombs

I always flavor my booch!

My favorites are:

- grape juice
- a pineapple/orange/banana blend in the little cans by Dole
- These: http://www.oceanspray.com/Products/Juices/By-Flavor/Citrus.aspx
- a couple whole mint leaves thrown in is awesome. Mash them up in your fingers before added to help release the oils.
- a couple slivers of fresh peeled ginger

I've found no more than 3oz. of juice in a 12oz bottle of booch is what works best.

Cranberry and apple juice are not good because cranberry is too tart, and apple juice with booch just taste like apple cider vinegar.
