Of course it's worth saving. Clean up the area and make a blow off tube. I usually put a large tube on the post in the middle of the air lock. Run the tube into a container with mixed Starsan.

What yeast was this?
 
Your beer is fine, it happens to all of us at one time or another... What you do is, clean the mess, sanitize everything and consider adding a blowoff tube.

Remember your beer is way more resilient than new brewers think it is...

Here's the first video an hour before the lid blew off the fermenter... The beer was my 19.75% abv Barelywine with 50 year old honey

The yeast was white labs 001. Thanks I will do just that I don't have starsan can I use easyclean

Remember, this isn't rocket science or brain surgery... mistakes and accidents are an inevitable part of the process... beer has survived thousands of years and been brewed in primitive conditions and managed to survive...
