Kinda Flat ?? Help

My 2nd batch, Northern Brown Ale Extract Kit. 5 gallon .0155 Og ,3 weeks
@68-70,2 weeks in secondary @ 68-70 FG.0120.Bottled with DME instead of Corn Sugar. Bottled for 8 days and I had to try one ,it has the taste but the carbonation is very tiny with hardly any head.Is is because of only 8 days or because of DME instead of Corn sugar? My last batch was a Porter and it had one heck of a head with plenty of co2. Help

Very likely. My beers are rarely carbed in such a short time.

according to what Ive read on here you should def let it sit for 2 more weeks....I would try one next week just to gauge the progress...or to just sneak another taste
