Making a key lime hefe, using 6.6 lbs light wheat LME, saaz and halertau hops 1/2 oz each in boil 1/2 oz each dry hop ,2 cups key lime juice, zest of 7 small key limes, my question is if I add 1 cup light DME and 1 cup dextrose to the boil, will that beef up the body or just my OG?

Dextrose will reduce the body of your beer. Simple sugars like dextrose will increase the OG and final ABV, but your beer will be drier and have a thinner or lighter mouthfeel.

OT tip: try to get in the habit of referring to dry ingredients by weight rather than volume. E.g., nn ounces of dextrose instead of cups.

Malto dextrin will increase body if that is what you are trying to accomplish. Dextrose will result in a higher alcohol beer with thinner mouthfeel as stated above.
