Kenmore 16949 dead...will my collar fit a kenmore 12909?

Like the title says, my kenmore 16949 died after less than 18 months. No warranty. Can't repurchase as they're no longer sold. Does anyone know if the collar will fit onto the replacement 12909? My collar is 41.1" x 21.7".

Anyone with a 12909 care to measure where that would sit?

The "O.D." of my collar is 42-3/4 x 21-5/8

The "I.D." is 39-3/4 x 18-5/8
