Is there a way to mount a normal(un-threaded) thermometer in the side of a keggle? I fully understand that I can buy one that is threaded from one of our amazing vendors but I just wondered if there was a way to seal one in a compression fitting or some other method to allow the use of a cheaper unit. Thoughts?

There is a fitting in my midwest catalog that says you can use a 1/8" or 3/16" stem thermometer. I think this is it but it has a different part # and a little different description. But it looks just like it. The part # in the catalog is ZY42
