Anyone use fittings you can find at Lowes or Home Depot to make your keggles? I was curious about using a liquid tight fitting used in electrical work. Very similar to the fittings I see online.

Bargain fittings. They have just about everything you could want and cheap. $5 flat rate shipping.

Yeah. I wouldn't use electrical fittings. They're galvanized, and zinc doesn't stand well to acidic environments.
Most people here use SS fittings.

I put this together with stuff i picked up menards. those are stainless electrical locknuts.

Hmmm...never heard of SS electrical stuff, other than wall plates and enclosures. Are you sure they're stainless steel, or just "stainless"?

I guess i couldn't guarantee anything, but I've been using them in my mash tun for probably 10 batches and don't have any corrosion problems.
