yeee haaaa, i love jigs, ive been looking for a brew kettle, think im just gonna convert a sankey now, what do you use for a lid?

The lid from a 30Qt turkey fryer pot fit my keggle perfectly. I don't remember the dimensions, I got the angle grinder as close to the diameter of the keg as possible and by luck, chance, the turkey fryer lid fit perfectly.
 
This is the lid I use

Location of the pivot bolt: From the edge of the cutting wheel to the center of the bolt hole = the lid inner radius
 
should i take a measurement to make the keggle fit the lid or cut the keg and look for sa lid after
