I am just getting back into brewing and have all my kegging gear, but sold my keg fridge.

Can I just rack to the keg straight from my fermentor to keg and keep it at room temp to keg condition and force carb the beer? I would really like to avoid having to bottle.

I may bottle later, from the keg (with a counter pressure bottle filler) but that would be rare.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've never kegged, but wouldn't it just depend on the style of beer, and if you like drinking it at room temp? I would guess lagers and other cold beers wouldn't work out too well...

I would probably naturally carb instead of force carb in this scenario - but either will work (if co2, just be sure to check the PSI you'll need for your storage temp). Once carbed, you could fill a growler or two at a time and toss them in the fridge if you wanted to add some chill before serving.

You can, but don't forget you will have to force carbonate at much higher pressures. Dispensing will be tricky, unless you chill the keg for a couple hours.
