Kegged for the first time on Wednesday evening. Thursday night I decided to draw a glass to see how it was progressing... noticed the beer was carbd up, but it was quite cloudy for my IPA. Attributed it to some residual yeast, but after the third or fourth glass, still pretty hazy/cloudy... not as clear as I would think.

Question is there a time it needs to settle out/clear up? I did have it in the secondary for 14 days after a 10 day primary, and used cheescloth to keep the dry hops out when racking to the keg.
 
cloudy home brew can be caused by any number of things. could be chill haze, could be yeast that settled out during the chilling then got picked up when you dispensed. could also be improper mashing leaving starch instead of sugar in your wart. in short we need more detail on your recipe and brewing process.
 
Most likely chill haze. I've got a GF Pale that I filtered and it was clear. A week in the keg to carbonate and it is murky like a urine sample from a sick horse. Flavor is fine though. Maybe I'll dig out a ceramic stein.

I believe it was Chill Haze and a combination of agitation. Since let it sit overnight and day, drew another glass and was much clearer.
 
Chill haze in a keg gets more severe...the bigger the beer is. Generally letting a keg sit chilled for 7-10 days will clear a lot of that up. On the other hand...if you dry hopped your IPA, it's not likely to get very clear.

Dry hopping...while fantastic for flavor and aroma...does not help in "clear beer" category.

I have an IIPA that is going on 10-months in the keg and it's still not crystal clear. But boy...sure is tasty. :cross:
