Anyone know of any good thermometers to use for keeping track of kegerator temps? Mine is the Sanyo 4912 and it only has a dial setting of 1-6. Im looking for something decent.

I used a small digital indoor outdoor thermometer (Lowe's garden section for $8 I think) with the wire probe going into the door (no drilling, so if it don't work for you it isn't perminant) and the selector on outdoor tells you the temp in the frdge. It is small and comes with velcro so it can be attached easily to the outside of the fridge, mine also has a light and the hotest/coldest memory so you can judge fluxuations in the cooling. I hope this is what you were asking about. Lowe's or Home Depot should has a bunch.

Is this the one you're talking about?

Not that exact model but it is close, mine is a bit smaller (mine has a selector switch on it), but that is very close and cheap :D . I would rather have the larger one though ( I am getting old you see, I may have to go get that one hehe). That should work for you if all you want is to do is know the temp of the fridge.

Thanks Rob, I ended up going to Home Depot and picking up a smaller one like you were talking about for around 9 bucks. Works fine!
