For years I have used standard tap faucets on my BevAir kegerator. They require disassembly on a regular basis for cleaning. It would be so much easier to pump cleaner thru the lines w/o having to also remove the faucet separately.

Another concern we all have is foaming when the conditions are not ideal. Temp changes, CO2 volumes,
beer volumes in kegs and a variety of other issues casue can contribute to foaming.

Is it worth a look at Perlick to help resolve these two issues? Would the 630ss or the 650ss be a better choice?

There are CIP methods for dispensing appliances that clean from the keg end disconnect all the way through the faucet. I built one that cleans six taps worth of lines, disconnects and faucets, but there are home made single line cleaners documented on HBT.

As for the dispensing problems, can you provide more details on your dispensing setup - like beer line ID and length? While the Perlick 650 can solve some pour issues, I doubt the regular 630 would similarly offer a cure.

On the up side, however, both Perls will offer a more sanitary process and will be far less likely to seize vs a rear-sealing faucet...

Cheers!

I just put together a recirculating keg line cleaner using a pump and some keg fittings. I rarely even take my taps apart unless they happen to leak or not seal well.

As for foam pours, I just recently ordered up a set of Perlick 650SS flow control faucets. I've currently got a set of Perlicks, but as you mentioned with changing conditions sometimes I get a lot of foam. I'm confident the flow control will allow me to get past that.
