All,

I apologize if this has been posted before, but I am ready to get started building my kegerator and about every 4 hours I change my mind on how I want to do. I am hoping guys will offer their opinions/frustrations for what they have used. I want a 3 keg setup and I am somewhat space limited to 50 in. wide, 37 in. tall (minus tap tower), and 24 in. deep. I haven't figured out how to post pictures and text together so below are the styles I am torn between. Retro Fridge Kegerator, Keezer with the pipe tower, or custom built cabinet/refrigerator (obviously wider than the one pictured) with the pipe tower.

I apologize for not giving credit for these kegerators, I just copied pictures I liked for inspiration. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts.

The height limitation is the biggest issue.
You cannot use a chest freezer because you need 2x the height of the keg to get it in and out.
Since you need to be able to pull kegs out from the front you really need one of those sanke keg dorm fridge style kegerators.
Because you have 4' of width you may be able to find a double door bar-back cooler in an auction somewhere to convert and give you enough space for 3 kegs.

Thanks for the input. I can explain the height limitation a little more. If I go with a keezer or the homemade refrigerator I have to stay below a window sill to be at peace with SWMBO. I can open the top of the keezer to get kegs in and out. If I go with the Retro Fridge, it will go on an adjacent wall, I just have to make it really cool so the MRS. is happy.
