I have a free standing kegerator that I want to put under a bar so that I can move the draft tower to the bar top. I am starting to build the bar and am wondering about ventilation for the kegerator? Also, is PVC ok to use for the gap from the kegerator to the bar top? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

You will want to vent any actual vents coming off of the kegerator, possibly with small fans if you are really worried about your compressor. You will also want to leave some spacing between the bar and the kegerator, something like three inches or so, so it can breath a little. PVC is fine to run your lines through, but you will want to seal it well, it might be helpful to add insulation through the entire tower and a fan to blow cold air, that will keep your lines colder and help fight foaming.

Thanks for the reply. I plan on leaving at least 3 inches around every side and in back. The front will obviously be open. Do you think i would still need a fan blowing on the condenser in the back? Thanks again.
