kegerator alterations

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I can't find an answer.
I've read and read and read, and every time I think I have it locked down, I read something else which makes me more confused.
I just ordered my first kegerator.

I am in the process of ordered in 2 ball lock kegs, to put my homebrew in.
HOWEVER, looking at the description, it says it is set up for Sankey kegs.
I have seen everything from adapters needed, to cutting lines, to replacing all the lines, to get it to run ball lock kegs.
Do I just need an adapter to hook up onto the kegs, and if so can someone recommend one?
Or do I need to cut the lines, and put different couplers on? Basically, how do I get to have this kegerator use ball lock kegs?

Cut the lines and put a barbed swivel nut on both the liquid and gas lines:

Buy a gas and a liquid disconnect with mfl connections:

Liquid:

Then get some mfl fitting for you sanke coupler so you can easily switch back and forth between different kegs should you wish:
Get 2, one for gas and one for liquid.

I built my kegerator, but this is essentially how it is set up. When i want to throw a 1/6 keg of something commercial in there (only did it once really) I just unscrew from my ball lock connect and connect to my sanke coupler. Couldn't be easier.

If that kegerator comes with the industry standard 5 foot 3/16" id lines, I recommend replacing them with 10 footers.

Or, you can leave them as is, and start Yet Another Foamy Pours thread.

Which we'd all just love to see...

Good point.

If you notice your beers pouring really faomy and can't figure out why, do what day tripper said and replace your lines.

In fact, when you order the parts I told you about, get 10' lines and save yourself the hassle.

one more quick question. I wanted to get a dual regulator, so that I could have two different pressures foe the two different kegs. I found what looks like a good one.

Here is the rub. The CO2 bottle sits behind the kegerator, with a hole in the back for a single line to come in to the kegerator, which is then split inside for the two kegs (with a simple T splitter). any way I can have a single line coming from the back from the CO2 canister, which is then split inside the kegerator, which would then regulate the pressure of the two kegs at different pressures?

I can't see why this wouldn't work.

I've never messed with dual pressures and whatnot, so wait for someone else to chime in before we say definite.
