I searched the forum and I think I am just not searching the correct terms. I have a 3 tap home kegerator setup with ball lock kegs and 3 separate gas lines to each keg. I want to convert one of those tap lines so I can go grab a keg of commercial beer at the party store. I am unsure what parts I need to do this. I also assume I will need to adjust the length of my line on that keg but unsure how to calculate that.

Thanks for the help in advance.

You'll need a Sanke D type coupler for starters. And if you get a pair of beer thread to ball lock adapters then you would be able to keep your QDs and connect them to either a corny keg or a sixtel. The Amazon links are for illustrative purposes only; I cannot vouch for the quality of these specific items.

I'm not sure why you would need to adjust the line length unless you're planning to buy commercial kegs that are carbonated to very different levels than your homebrews, but there are plenty of online calculators for that. Here's one example.

Thanks and you are right on the line length, for some reason I was thinking about the difference between pushing already carbonated beer vs carbing the beer. Appreciate the reply
