Can someone help me out? What is the difference between:

1. 2 Keg Basic Keg Kit, DUAL BODY REG, Standard Kit

-I emailed customer service and called. No responses. I imagine they are pretty busy around this time... So any input would be appreciated.

They are two different setups. Just look at the pictures at the top of both of those pages. The first kit comes with two regulators with check valves on each. The second option you had there was a kit with one regulator and a different manifold system.

It all depends on what you need your system to do, regarding which one to go with. Are you needing to use two different pressures? For example, are you looking at carbing a batch while serving another one? If so, you'll want to go with the dual regulator kit. If you only want one pressure, you can go with the kit with one regulator and a manifold.

I want the 2 regulator setup, which you can also upgrade to with the second kit as I indicated in my original post. So what is the difference between these 2 kits, the basic and premium both with dual regulators and a $35 difference?

I can't vouch for exactly why there is a difference, but there is still a manifold you are forgetting about. In the dual-regulator option, each regulator simply has a check valve attached to the bottom. With the "Premium Kit" upgraded to a dual-regulator, you'll have a different manifold with check valves. The manifold makes up for the difference between those two systems. Their 2-way manifolds are currently running between $20-27 bucks each.

Looking at it I think the premium includes Taprite regulator bodies and gauges, the standard does not. There may be other differences as well.

The Taprite can be hand adjusted, bleeds pressure when adjusting down (many bodies require you to bleed/pour a beer before the pressure is lowered), and you can get rebuild kit if it dies before you do.

If you're trying to save some coin you can definitely go with the standard.

Assuming you set up both w/ dual regulators, you are getting a better regulator on the Premium kit.
I stopped by KegConnection yesterday (about 25 miles down the road from me), and a friend of mine picked up a single keg set. He went with the standard regulator.
I'm sure the standard regulator works fine, but if I was buying one, I'd get the Premium setup. The Temprite is hand adjustable, and may be a longer lasting regulator.
If you're going to buy a kit, buy it w/out the CO2 tank, and buy one of their Red tanks--you can move up from 5 lb to a 10 lb tank for about $10.
Now is a great time to get a keg setup w/ their sale. But I'm only on my second batch, and want to make sure I stay w/ this hobby before I drop some cash on a keg system.
