Well I keep going back and forth between silver soldering or going weldless. I already have Stay Brite #8 so I'm probably better off soldering. I've searched the forums and found nostalgia's stainless option with part numbers but looking to go a little cheaper.

I plan on ordering parts from McMaster due to he fact I will receive next day. Does anyone have a parts list for building a cheaper keg tool from McMaster-carr?

You mean the keg tool that Greenmonti showed us? If so I'm sure that someone posted a similar tool made from McMaster parts. Seems like there were part numbers. Do a search I'm sure it will come up. It seems to me that they used a stainless reducer to create the bell shape for the dimple.

BTW I'm not trying to be a "Do a search Nazi" just trying to help point you in the right direction. I hate those guys.

Yeah Greenmonti's tool

Understandable, but if you read my post I located that stainless option. I am seeking a Brass option as the stainless version in over $30. Now I can think of 6 couplings to solder now so it will be worth the purchase, but just pinching pennys.

There have been several post by members saying they built a brass option for much cheaper but no one list part numbers. All the butt-weld reducers seem to be stainless.

Looks like I'll just go stainless, since we know it works. I can just assume the money I'm spending on the keg tool, is money saves from not having to purchase weldless setups.
