Keg to bottles?

I got kegged beer, can I xfer the beer to bottlesand if so how would I kep it fizzy?

You can, but you need a counter-filler or a beer gun

my buddy and I are going in halves on a beer gun this year. We plan on entering a few competitions, so it will be easiest for us to just fill from the keg. Plus no sediment on the bottom.

I just got a beer gun. I'll be bottling some brew tomorrow with it for the first time. I'll add my review of the puppy when I'm done.

I don't bottle much, but when I do I'll just put in a carbdrop. Much as I like toys, I really can't justify a beergun.

Carb drops are a great thing if you know you're going to bottle before carbonation.


Lately, I've been bottling the last gallon of the keg so I can free up the tap and the corny. This is where having a beer gun comes in handy.

Freeing the tap was a BIG reason for me. In addition, I'd like to be able to give people a beer or two and I don't want to have to explain the whole sediment thing.

If my beer is kegged and under pressure do I just send to bottle and carb drop it or I need to depressurize the keg and get all the fizz out 1st?

Drink the beer in the keg this time, add carb drops to un-pressurized beer next time.

I got 2 batches of beer ready and need the kegs open, 1 beer is so so I'll toss it the other is good but need the keg.

Dropping a carb drop into fully carbed beer is not unlike dropping a mento into a diet coke.
