Keg tap the roommate took off because he didn't like having a keg in the place. Hadn't been used in about 8 months now constant leak out of the coupler that connects the threaded piece to the tap. What is wrong?

You must not have a good room mate. That's what's wrong. Who doesn't want a keg on tap?

you are probably missing a beer nut washer.

I found the problem he must have put the tap together wrong or something when he took it off.
