Keg release valve - identification and advice

I received three pin-lock corny-style kegs via someone on Craigslist. They gave them away for free (they were moving, if memory serves).

Photos are attached. If anyone has this type of keg, or any idea how to operate the valve, please let me know. Perhaps there is a ring or other release mechanism that simply broke off, but I really can't tell from looking at them.

(PS, I do realize that I can press the gas poppet to purge the tank, but if I am simply missing some sort of cheap plastic hand-tool, or not pushing on the right part of the valve, then it would still be handy information.)

Those are not manually releasable. I have a few myself. They're just there for emergency overpressure relief. Just poke the gas poppet with a screwdriver to vent.
