Hi Guys
First time i kegged about a month ago. Didnt have my CO2 tank at the time, so i primed the keg and close it.
Yesterday, after 3 weeks have passed got my CO2 tank and connected it, only to find out that the keg was leaking(probably broke it when i was trying to open it the first time, its a European sankey keg)
Should i try to rack the beer to another keg and carbonate it, or should i just dump it?

As long as there was a layer of C02 over the beer it's probably good. Taste it. If it tastes good rack it to another keg and force carb it.
You could carb it in the same keg, you'll just have alot of yeast from the priming sugar.

Thanks Roadking, it tasted good so i changed the valve on the keg that was broken, put the pressure at 35 psi, shook it for a few minutes and put it in the fringe, where it will stay for 48hours, and then change the pressure to 12 psi for a couple of days.
Is this the correct procedure?

That should work, but I've never put the pressure that high on mine. I carb at about 15 and serve at 8. You may indeed need more than that, but every system is different so you may want to guess low and work from there. I never shake mine either, it works great if you're not in a hurry and you have less concern of over doing it. The beauty of kegging is you can sample it from time to time and see how it's going....

Thanks Demus, i wanted to serve it in about 7 days to a friends birthday party, so i thought about force carbonating it. So i left it at 35 psi for 2 days and turned it down to 12 psi after that, hope it does not over carbonate, am gonna sample it today
