What's the advantage of a angled diptube?

They are bent so they fit into the dimple, centered in the bottom of the keg.

there are a couple types of kegs. some of them were designed for a bent tube and have the dimple in the center. others have the straight tube and have the dimple on the "side". No advantage, just different design
