First time builder here and I'm looking for some recommendations for a two tap tapbox.

-What's a good height to place the shanks?
-What's a good distance between the shanks?
-Make the top of the box accessible for maintenance?
-Is it OK to located the STC-1000 and wiring in the tapbox?
-What's the minimum thickness of foam insulation for the tapbox?
-What other stuff am I missing?

Thanks for any help!

- Find your tallest favorite glass and make sure your faucets clear the rim comfortably. That'd be the minimum, probably around 10".
If you want to fill growlers, make it 13" from the drip tray to the bottom of the spouts.

- 4" would be the minimum imo. If you want to use flow-control faucets another inch spacing might prove convenient.

- Top access probably isn't as important as access to the back.

- The controller could be located inside the box I reckon. It shouldn't get swampy up there.

- I'd plan on 3/4" rigid foam (the pink stuff) as long as you're starting from scratch.

- If you look around for "coffin" designs you should see a ton of them on HBT...

Cheers!
