Liquid nails is tried and true on this forum. I tried using wood glue the first go around because I had a bunch and that... did not work well.
 
I used silicone caulk to attach a collar to my fermentation chamber, and it worked great. The nice thing is you could still cut the collar and remove the caulk if you need to.
 
I used Liquid Nails, but I gave the plastic trim a light sanding and cleaned with alcohol. I also kept 4 corny kegs filled with water on the lid for a week. A week is probably not needed, but I couldn't get back to the project till then. :mug:
