Keep apfelwine in the dark?

Should I keep my EdWort's apfelwine stored in the dark like it was beer or can I just leave it out on the counter as it ferments? Does it skunk from sunlight?

Not unless you put hops in it. From what I understand the reason beer skunks is because of the interaction of light with compounds in hops. As you can tell I'm very scientific. I believe in the original thread though, he has pictures of it just sitting in better bottles in some area of the house that isn't dark.
