Seriously. Now, keep ion mind that you are talking to a 35 yr. old guy that has the computer savy of, well, a 35 yr. old guy that is a carpenter. I want to make a Special label for a brew for St. Patty's day for a Party. Should I be looking into Software for this, or is it easier then that?

I use PhotoShop. It's not free...

GIMP is free, and is pretty nice for the price...!

It can be intimidating to use these programs. They're both feature rich. Perhaps someone can recommend an easier to use program? I'm thinking along the lines of a consumer photo editing software package, perhaps?

I can't read "splain" without Ricky Ricardo popping into my head...

Looooceeeee, jooo gaht some SPLAININ tooo dooo!

OP, Can you draw? It doesn't have to be any more complicated than a sheet of paper, a couple of pens, and a photocopier.

If you've got Word on your computer, you can generate some decent labels using WordArt. Inkscape is a free graphic program used by many to make labels, but has a fairly steep learning curve.
