Just Starting

Hello, nice to have found this place. I am just getting started in homebrewing, currently in the middle of my first batch, a mead. I have watched many hours of videos and done a lot of reading, and am eager to see if this is a hobby I will get into further. I'm pretty worried about my first brew, but I'm not going to let one failure dissuade me. There may be hope for this one, anyway, and it could turn out perfect, who knows?

Anyway, I did already make my first post over in the mead forum, which is what led me to get a membership and post here, so, good to be here! I currently live in Alaska but will relocating to northern California in a few months.

Welcome! Seems like a good attitude, try it out and see what you think but don’t be discouraged if the first one isn’t so good
