Just pulled the trigger on a DO meter

Sounds like it has decent specs - accuracy to 1.5% full scale and resolution down to 0.01 ppm. So, if I understand correctly, full scale is 19.99 ppm - accuracy is about 0.3 ppm. Seems like it should be acceptable.

Please let us know how this works out. I'm also interested in getting better IPAs out of my brew pot. And so far, reducing O2 has been good.
 
In the interests of science and the perfect IPA I ordered one of these generic cheap Chinese made DO meters.

That's a pretty reasonable price for a DO meter with some fairly attractive specs. Please report back after you have some experience with it.

I would like to hear how it works as well as I have been trying to limit O2. What ever you do don't get mixed up in the LODO German PDF, it makes me want to quit brewing.
 
It has been dispatched, hopefully it will avoid customs and ill get it tax free.
