I just sparged and an emergency came up and I have to quit for the night am I screwed or can I refrigerate and boil tomorrow?

The boil will kill off anything wild that might take hold between now and then.

That's what I thought got the wort into a clean keg under a co2 cap to stop any wild yeast from starting fermentation

The cooler the better. If you can store in kegs and flush with c02, that's probably even better. Worst case scenario though, it gets a touch sour. Probably not a huge deal.
