So I finally bit the bullet and bought a Crankandstein grain mill :rockin: I went with the 2A and the base and hopper since I wanted to be able to adjust the setting easily if needed.
I had been getting between 70-75% efficiency using my corona style hand crank mill that I modified with a few homer buckets, however, I am getting married in July and plan to brew up beer for not only my wedding favors but also plan to give cases of beer as my groomsman gifts so I figured it was time to upgrade.
I looked at a lot of different options for mills (MM, Barleycrusher etc) but decided to go with C&S for the quality and price (I was able to get the complete set up for only $150 shipped)
I might even try to sell my old corona style mill to offset a little cost.
Anyone else use this mill?
