Juniper berries as yeast source

I want to culture some wild yeast and have heard that juniper berries are a good yeast source. Has anyone had success doing this and if so what was the yeast like?

Is the yeast that you get from juniper berries going to be fairly consistent in terms of style or will it vary each time you try culturing?

Uh, yep!

Check out this thread. You could probably culture yeast from anything outdoors. I've done the juniper berries myself, with success.
