Johnson Digital Thermostat

I am going to try my first lager .
So I have a refrigerator to lager in and am thinking of getting the Johnson Digital Thermostat to run the refridge . first off is this the thermostat that works the best or should I buy another one? And second wen the refrigerator is switched off it has no power (I get that) but will the freezer part still keep stuff frozen ?
What temp should I set it at ?

The freezer side will get warmer. It still may be frozen depending on the fridge temp but it wont be like it is normally . Best to not keep anything perishable in the freezer section

And yes the Johnson controls are good units not saying they are the best but they do the job . I like Love controllers but I am willing to bet there are better ones out there than them.
