Hi,
I've been reading the forum and learned about the John Guest fittings. This got me really interested as I like the idea of quick and easy assembly. My idea is to have
Co2 Regulator MFL -> John Guest Adapter -> Gas Line -> John Guest Adapter -> MFL Ball Lock disconnect
MFL Ball Disconnect -> John Guest Adapter -> Liquid Line -> John Guest Adapter -> Picnic Tap (Somehow add a connection to change barb to MFL to attach to John Guest)
*Maybe it's a bit overkill to add a john guest adapter for the picnic tap?
Understandably the line that matters the most is the Liquid line and I would like to use a similar dimensions for the Gas Line. However, the PSI, at least for PVC tubing from McMasterCarr is only 50 which is lower than the 60 PSI that has been recommended (from reading the forums). I would only assume the Accuflex is of similar properties.
I'd like to keep this as many parts similar to each other, however, I am getting stuck on finding particular ID and OD's of Liquid and Gas lines.
I would prefer to order 4x John Guest 5/16" x 1/4" adapters instead 2x 5/16" for the Liquid and 2x 3/8" for the Gas Lines. My question is, is there a CO2 tubing that has an Outer dimension of 5/16" that fulfills the minimum requirement for PSI? Also, is their a preferable length?
