I have an 8" x 12" two pass cold plate that I would like to use to make my own jockey box. I have all the hardware except for the hoses. I have looked all over Google, youtube & HBT and can not get the same answer more then once. I am trying to find out what size tubing from the Keg to the cold plate & from the cold plate to the faucets. I also need to find out the length of said hoses. Any help would be appreciated.

I have checked all of them. None of them say if they are for keg to cold plate or cold plate to faucet. Also every online place has different lengths. Called Northern brewer and was told 3/16 both sides at 2 foot lengths. I know that is wrong, as the in would never reach the keg.

When I was looking a jockey box setup I was figuring 3/8" in and 3/16" out to the tap. There was going to be a total of 6 ft of 3/8" line, 4 from the keg to the box, 2 from the box to the chiller.
Then 2 ft of 3/16" from the chiller to the shank.

Doesn't really matter.

I used a 5/16 to my coils and from coils to the taps. Just squeezed them down on the barbs for the taps. No problems. Figuring you only use it for a weekend every once in a while or what not. No big deal. I'd say just match your barb sizes on your beer equip. If you have 1/4" barbs on your shanks, do 1/4". Same for your liquid post, whatever size it is use.
