Got a bottle of ea last night (Fri 11-6). It was about the slowest I've ever seen it out there on a Friday night. The new batch of Black Metal is back on track.

Need.

headed to revolution spirits to get these yesterday before argus cidery and jester king. anyone else get them? They have a small batch gin aging in barrels that previously held RU55 as well.

  • These unique fruit liqueurs are created using the fruit pulp remaining after the production of Jester King Brewery's fruited farmhouse ales, Atrial Rubicite / La Vie en Rose, Aurelian Lure, and Montmorency vs. Balaton. We capture the character of both the fruit and the wild yeast and bacteria used in the fermentation of the beers, creating a complex blend of flavors that is completely unlike a traditional fruit infusion.

That sounds so damn awesome! I'm putting out a BOLO to my Austin friends.

You popped any of these yet, Matt? Interested to hear how they taste.

And that gin has been in that RU-55 barrel for almost a year by now.

Oh and I've visited that backsplash.

ISO?

Remind me next time you're in town and I'll bring a sample of the apricot.

I only tried a small bit, but I didn't get any off flavors. Just bright apricot taste/aroma.
I might be this Saturday depending on a few factors.

Primarily

1. Will JK be releasing anything new
2. Will my best friend be accompanying me.

I might still come even if a no go on both of those.

I don't think there's going to be any froots coming out for a while, but Fouderweizen and Kollaborationsbier just were re-released.
