Saturday noon to 4 seems to be the time to avoid out there, just in general.

Typically true, but today I went at 2:30, found a spot quickly, and got in the bottle line, which was 6 people long at that point. The fact it was raining probably helped, and I was shocked to see cars parked all the way out onto Fitzhugh Rd. Never seen it that bad before, parking wise.

****! Sorry about that. Just stopped by real quick with my wife to grab bottles and then had to run (sons birthday party was today). We'll get together soon!

We went out around 8 last night (sat) and found a close parking spot and there was no line at all for bottles. They said customer count was a little under 1000.

Heading out again today. Good times. Loving that cherry juice.

Jeff just posted on the other site that there were 600 bottles left as of 3PM today. The kegs both outside and inside kicked around 2PM today and apparently they started pouring out of bottles.

Either way, it's really disappointing that a few active members of the beer community were blatantly disrespecting the rules by washing off their hand stamps and going through the MvB tent line 2 or 3 times on multiple days. I saw the nice ladies who were managing MvB bottle sales call out two people for this today, but at least one member (3 times through the line in less than 90 minutes) got irate and they just sold him another bottle as they probably didn't want him to cause a scene.

Back to the positive though: thank you Jester King for making this magical cherry juice...we all really loved it once again!

That's really disappointing. Saw some other idiot there multiple days bragging about how he didn't really like jk bottles but uses them for trade. "And when the collab w/ jk/evil twin/prairie comes out I'll be here everyday because that one's going to trade for 4x what it costs". It's hard to not confront him by pointing out how much of an ass he is but I figure it's best to control myself and leave it alone because I'm not very polite when it comes to confrontation. I get it that we trade a few bottles here and there but you certainly don't talk **** about the jk bottles you're going to trade while bragging about winning in the trade market.

Oh yeah for the positive. First jester king fruited beer that my gf has liked so we might be starting to turn her. Although I guess that's mixed because then I'll have to start hiding my bottles around the house.

I haven't had b1 so I have no reference there but yeah it was pretty fruit forward without much sour/funk. My rule of thumb is that I really try not to touch jk bottles until 6 months after bottling date. I'd think it will sour up a bit after some time in the bottle.

We had a B1 today side by side with B2 poured from the bottle. The B1 was definitely more sour and more funky, and overall was better (to me) which is saying a lot since I love B2.

I hate being a craft beer hipster, but seriously, every time I'm out drinking beer I hear someone talking about trading and "beer value". What the **** happened in the past two years?! I saw a guy pull up his cellar excel spreadsheet for some rando at hop fields to discuss all of his "rarities" (JK wilds, aged BCBS, Love Child #2). I just want to drink my ******* beer in peace and eavesdrop on conversation of value (binge drinking accidents, crazy friends, marital issues). /rant'

I know two of their names. I am not posting it publicly for anyone with potential malice in mind. However, if someone would like to pass it along to Jester King if they care, please PM me.

I personally have no problem with someone grabbing an extra bottle or two in this case, but that photo is pretty shocking. I mean did they steal a case or two??? That's what I'm more concerned about is potential theft.

I agree I have no problem with a mule/wife/husband/etc...(wish all my friends were not beer nerds) Just not this excessive. I also hope it was not stolen.

I wouldn't cross out the stolen part. I could have walked away with a case of beer last time I was at JK, but I had the intregrity to pay for it. I won't explain the full story unless asked, but could have had ~$144 worth of beer scot-free

If you look at his response to a comment on that photo after being so nice and policy with his eff off comment he states there were 15 people with him that went all 3 days to get that, so he claims there is no wrong-doing or even going through the line twice. Could be truth, could be a lie, not my place to say.
