I guess people aren't familiar with the early beers from JK. In the beginning, JK was known as "Just Kidding" to some people due to the bad beer that was being put out.
I mean, they had some bottling issues to begin with (exploding overcarbed Commercial Suicide comes to mind), but this is literally something I've never heard before.

It sounds like something a child or ******* frat boy would come up with, frankly.

not much funk and fruit. You can taste the fruit, but it didn't really have depth to it versus say a batch 4 atrial.
Hmm bummer, thought the fruit from the cask that day was fairly present and real nice. May just have to test it myself!

Yes the cask was much better and everyone who got to try my bottle and a cask pour agreed the cask was better.

Trust me. Hold onto it for 4-6 months minimum. I think it'll improve like Fen Tao

I really enjoyed the silent release of La Vie this weekend, even if it was only 1 bottle. It was the quietest I've seen it out there in a month.

What classifies it as a silent release? Announcement on twitter for second release of a beer is pretty typical.

Wasnt really silent, but announcing on Thursday versus Tuesday makes a huge difference.

I disagree on the BdS from the bottle - I thought the 2 bottles Ive had have been excellent. Lots of fruitiness, and good balanced tart funkiness. Love that beer.

New release. Sounds strange, but I'll bet it's good. Label gives me a chubby. I hope there is a shirt.

Sooooo Fen Tao this weekend based on my calculations?

I was told August release, and it seems that this weekend will be the last chance to meet that target, so we'll see. But ya just never really know - as they always say: the beer is ready when its ready.
