Any ideas/tweaks on this hop? I want it almost be a single hop (only other hop featured is for bittering only). I have a lb of 2016 crop sitting around I need to really start using and I also have 2.5oz of Polaris. I've read it's actually better as bittering only since a lot of people claim it can be quite minty/onion-y when used otherwise. I was thinking something like:

4 Gallon Batch
Partial Mash
Estimated OG: 1.057
Estimated FG: 1.013
Estimated ABV: 5.9%
IBUs: 69

5# 6-row
1.5# Gold LME
1.25# Flaked Oats (i use this in all my IPAs and have loved each one)

0.5 Polaris @ 60
1oz Jarrylo @10
1.5oz Jarrylo @ Flameout (or Whirpool/Steep)
2oz Jarrylo Dry Hop

Any ideas/corrections are appreciated. I've never experimented with these 2 hops yet so any info is helpful. I can scrap the Polaris for another more neutral hop like Magnum, Nugget, etc. if its recommended.

Can't really help, but I did just use Jarrylo in a Belgian Dubbel I made this past weekend.

.5oz @ 60
.5oz @ 15
.5oz @ 5 (although I slightly regret this decision just based off of style)

I'll let you know how it turns out.

EDIT: actually, I used Jarrylo in the Golden Strong, not the dubbel.

I did a Kolsch with only Jarrylo (3 oz total for 6 gallon batch) following traditional hopping schedule at 1 oz/per. It was amazing. I really like this hop for that beer. Otherwise, I haven't played with it too much. I do not think I would use it for a hoppier beer as the notes it brings are pretty subtle.
