Hey it's really cool to see you guys still around these parts!

No sharks...just bloody work. Ugh...it got so crazy today that I decided to shine it on and see what was going on on the old homebrewchat. The place looks great! :) Keith has done a great job, and it's cool to see so many new faces and contributors.

My brew buddy/brother moved out, so I've been having to brew solo, and less often because I just can't drink as much as when he was around. And man is it more of a pain by myself! Lifting those demijohns is impossible.

Also, my local homebrew store closed! What a pain that is. I have to think ahead and mail order everything. Thank the stars for morebeer.com and freshops.com.

I've made some good ones lately, though. About every other batch is the Hop Rod Rye clone (I bought 100 pounds of rye from the HBS before they closed). Also, the Brutal Bitter clone...I still have a keg on tap from the first batch I made in April (actually just put it on tap), and WOAH is that good stuff. Stronger than you could believe, though.

Dry hopping absolutely everything is my new favorite thing. With Columbus, Centennial and Amarillo, I don't think I need any other hops ;)

Cheers, y'all! Good to "see" you again!
