Janet's Brown Ale...... accident/question.

Not sure how (idiot), but I accidentally used 1.2 lb of Victory instead of White Wheat Malt.(11 gallon batch)When I noticed, I had already crush all the grains together.... so screw it.

More of a biscuit flavor? What do you guys think?

The wheat contribution in that recipe at best would be unnoticeable. I'd offer the same subbing Victory for the wheat.
It's going to be fine...

When I first saw the thread's title I read it as "James Brown Ale."

But 1.2 lbs Victory in an 11 gal batch won't be too much. The beer will be tasty.

No worries whatsoever. I drank a Janet's Brown Ale last night. It's a wonderful beer, and the Victory/White Wheat swap probably won't make a noticeable difference to most people at all and savvy beer drinkers would likely debate which they liked better. Lose zero sleep over this. =c)

Also, if you want, you can just add the white wheat as well. I added more malt to my batch and brought the ABV up to 9.8% (higher than I was shooting for), and it's still malty and delicious.
