need some infos.. I'm usually in Athens for 1-3 hours at a time per trip, I will have much extra time to kill when not drinking heavily for 2 days

best place to get breakfast Friday and Saturday morning?

suggestions for dinner Thursday and Friday nights? (that I won't have to wait hours)

has anyone seen a tap list yet?

Taplist us being posted tomorrow. Breakfast, Casa and village bakery. Dinner China Dynasty, get the special menu, and Salaam. Casa is good for all 3 meals, O Betty’s is fun if you like hot dogs.

I was just going to recommend the staples of Bagel St Deli and Miller's, but I might have to check out Salaam.

On a side note I've always felt like Athens lacks quality late night options. For a college town, you would think this is their bread and butter. DP Dough was my go to, mostly due to its proximity to the OU Inn, but it seemed to have diminished in quality last time I had it.

Food options in Athens are pretty limited. College food is ****. Cheap, fast, and it all comes from Sysco or GFS. One of the downfalls of living/visiting a small college town. Quality food options literally can’t survive, the customer base is too small.

They typically have breakfast Saturday at the Public House, no clue if that will change. It's pretty good. Other good breakfast spots include Casa Nueva, Millers Chicken (dope biscuit sandwiches), and Bagel Street (good bagel sandwiches). If you want just basic diner breakfast see Union Street Diner.

Good dinner options include Jackie O's Public House or Brew Pub (best cheese curds), Sol (Cubanish) Zoe (fancier), O'Betty's (awesome hot dogs), Cajun Clucker (food truck typically at Little Fish), Larry's Dawg House (also good hot dogs, drive-in style food), Millers Chicken (good fried chicken), Salaam (awesome Middle Eastern, try the Moroccan chickpea wrap), and Avalanche (good pizza).

I suspect it won't be too busy at most places uptown this weekend -- school doesn't start for another week or two.

Tap list is on Facebook and looks awesome.
