I'm so glad this thread is back to the important things. God damn. Cory's response to the Blanc de Blancs thing was the best brewer on brewer violence I've seen in months.
What happened with Blanc de Blancs?
Wakefield is apparently releasing a beer over Labor Day weekend called "Blanc de Blancs", which is a name already used for a Side Project beer. This was pointed out on the Wakefield event Facebook page:

Don't drainpour them! They're worth at least $50 each!!!No way this chick tried any of the OG beers. Think we've drainpoured 3 now.
FTFYDon't drainpour them without video! They're worth at least 50 likes on IG and possibly a rant if you tag Fakefield!
Damn, how did they come up with those beers? It's like they analyzed a bunch of trading data from 2016 to ensure maximum shitlord appeal.A Wakefield release, in 3 acts.

Anyone going to WAKEFEST?
Yes. I know we mostly stick to **** talking in this thread, but the tap list is guaranteed to be better than all the other beer festivals in south florida. Also they finally started selling tickets with no bottles and lowered the convenience fees so I bought oneAnyone going to WAKEFEST?
Did the exact same thing...considered the 1 bottle option, but after seeing the price jump from $75 to $94.50 w the fees, couldn't justify it. $58 after fees for no bottle option is a good deal, IMO.Yes. What time are people planning on showing up for the DFPF release, and will there be any beer sharing while waiting, or is that a no no down there?
That area is basically open container. There hasn't been a need to show up very early at any of the releases since the first couple BA stout releases, but people do it anyway and sharing happensWhat time are people planning on showing up for the DFPF release, and will there be any beer sharing while waiting, or is that a no no down there?
Looks like they're taking all their good beer to RateBeer and not WakeFest.I forgot this was a "functioning" brewery. Glad to see the status quo hasn't changed

It will sell out. They don't want leaky bottles on premise so they cut back on production to make sure they are all gone by the end of the day. Last time they had to spend a bunch of money on wax to fix the problem, probably put them in the red. This is probably a stupid question, but I've never been there, so forgive me: Will DFPF sell out the day of the release, or do bottles typically stick around for a few days?
