How long can the OGs continue whining? I thought the whole point of this new thread was to be done beating that dead horse. You aren't getting ****** over anymore, cause the OG club is gone, just like the ill-advised $300 you spent on it.

Your constant throat massaging of JW is the only tired thing in these threads.

I participated in plenty of Wakefield bashing and incitement of anger in the OG thread. It would have been nice though to have this thread to discuss current things about this brewery instead of continuing on about the ****** club that no longer exists.

The OG talk will stop when JW grows a pair and stops with continuing to throw it in OG's faces that he screwed everyone over and is continuing to try and find non-creative ways to name beer after the **** he pulled on us.

We ******* get it already, you win JW, now grow the **** up.

It would have been nice to have this thread as a place to review the latest releases from JWB, but since I've vowed never to spend another dime on their offerings, I can't offer an opinion on such.

Having said that, I can offer this. Wakefield is still a world class ******.

Beating that dead horse hasn't gotten even remotely old yet........

I have to admit I was honestly very pleasantly surprised by Desperado. Destroyed Huna in a side by side (yes I know it's not a fair fight, barrel vs non-barrel). Really great stuff, would love another bottle. Eastbound and Down and Not Even French were gross though.

I just got a reply to an email I sent voicing my concerns about the way the whole OG thing went down from JW himself! Very humble and apologetic, and says he has plans to make it right to all the OG members sometime in the not too distant future! Stay tuned!!!

Wakefield sent some employee goons to comment on my FB review of him. These appear to be their new talking points:

"My dude, you do know it takes about a year or more just to open up a new business, let a lone a brewery that requires many permits, construction, and a lot of back and forth with the city. Now add that all the beers for the OG's are barrel aged which on its own is an 8 month process. That's not even adding the weeks of fermentation of the beer before it even gets barreled. Sounds like the beers were delivered right on time.

I understand that OG's also received over $100 of exclusive merchandise not available to the public.
After dealing with the many challenges faced, and all the feedback both good and bad, a tough decision was made to end the OG Society at 1 year. Thankfully I don't need your dollar to survive as I work hard following a dream and a passion that I share with a devoted team and fellow colleagues in the industry.

I wouldn't get so butt hurt and start talking trash about a start up company
, let alone an individual and hard working team that faced many challenges to bring the community the amazing beers that are being release. Such a shame. You good sir, along with all the trolls are the poison in the good world of the beer community."

So I learned a few things:

1) Kettle sours are barrel aged for 8 months
2) The T-shirt we got was valued at $100
3) Screwing people over this bad is hard work
4) Many permits, such back and forth

Thank you, oh Mighty Wakefield, for blessing the community with your amazing beers.

When his brewery closes, we should arrange the largest Talk Beer bottle share in history in their parking lot.

Says OG's are just butt hurt.
Proceeds to name beers: "Troll So Hard" and "Keyboard Muscles"

will never spend a ******* dime on this fuckhead's beer or trade for it, and will continue to **** on any suggestions that anyone else do so.

civil discussion on releases from the brewery? plz. $14 3 oz pours of carbonated Gatorade don't need discussing, especially those made by a ******** scam artist.
