J-512 Sanitizer

Found some of this J-512 sanitizer:

I was wondering if anyone had ever seen it or knows if it is safe to use for equipment in place of iostar or starsan or a similar product.

Most of these are supposed to be rinsed after usage on food contact surfaces, despite the prevalence of NOT doing so in the restaurant industry.

well it calls itself a no rinse sanitizer

It's quaternary ammonia, it will sanitize quite well. If it truly is no-rinse and you can't find any off flavours, go nuts with it. Is it cheaper than starsan? I know Johnson-Diversey charge an arm and a leg for stuff.

This article says it ruins head retention if used on glassware, no idea of the effect it has being used for fermenter sanitation.
