Just wondering if these little nodes are what eventually will become hop cones?

those look more like side arms, depending on variety and growing conditions and age of the plant, they will grow a few inches to several feet. They are a good sign, since that is where the burrs / nodes that become hops will grow.

So at each leaf site, there will be more than 2 side arms that grow? The variety in the picture is Cascade.

At each leaf site (called a node), there's gonna be two sidearms that grow out and produce your hops. Congratulations!

Alright that makes sense, so in all those pics there is already 2 sidearms growing. What are the little things growing out at the main bine, other than the leaf and the sidearms?

On some varieties, a cone or two will form right at the junction of the sidearms and the vine so those other little things will also be cones!
