Is this pH meter ok for measuring my mash pH?

It looks like one that a brewer has on another sight I go to. If it measures PH and can be calibrated it should work.

Kind of a cheap, low resolution PH meter... The probes are replaceable, but I could never get the the one I started with calibrated correctly even with a new probe.

It will probably be one point calibration, not idea but what do you want for a free meter

Any ideas what to use as pH meters easy and practical, I have used pH strips and they don't react also their range is un precise and only from 4.8 to 6.0. Thanks

I have 2 of these... one for my reef tank and one for brewing...

Theres absolutely no advantage to having a higher resolution meter for brewing that I can see.. Every time I have asked about it in a ph meter thread no one has ever responded with an answer..
I only use mine to adjust my RO water to 5.2 after adding the minerals... its always worked well over the last year or so I've been using it.
